As we begin 2018 with these cold days, we can often find ourselves indoors a little more and hopefully embracing a slower and more relaxed pace. The best evenings for me are the ones spent with my “Hour of Power” where I commit to read for 20 minutes an inspiring book, journaling for a little while and then finishing with a restorative yoga pose . I assure you the best sleep awaits me every time. A reminder to follow the signs of nature and hibernate like the bears a little and take much needed rest and and relaxation. Life is all about balance, enjoying very active practices but also savoring the ones that invite stillness. Namaste, Chantel

L’hiver une excellent temps de réflexion,

En ce début d’année très froid, on peut se retrouver à l’intérieur un peu plus que d’habitude. Donc savoir profiter du temps un peu plus relax et décontracté grâce aux plus courtes journées et plus longues soirées.  Les meilleurs soirées pour moi sont celles ou je passe mon “hour of power” en pratiquant mes 3 passions; lire un livre ou passage inspirant pendant 20 minutes, écrire dans un journal de bord pendant 10 minutes et ensuite pratiquer une posture restorative ou courte série de yoga pendant les minutes qui me restent. Un sommeil de grande qualité y est presque garanti. L’hiver est un rappel de suivre le rythme de la nature et de possiblement suivre un peu l’exemple des ours et d'hiberner un peu en savourant ces temps de relaxation. La balance est la clef puisqu’il ne faut pas oublier l’importance de rester actif il faut aussi savoir apprécier les temps plus relax. Namaste, Chantel

I have implemented all aspects (rising with the sun, movement ,tongue scrapping, warm lemon water, largest meal mid day, oil massage, bed by 10pm) into my daily routine since Sunday, and I am already noticing a difference in how well I sleep, feeling more energetic and positive.
