A deep stretchy class, stressing the bones, joints and connective tissue to enhance and increase regeneration of these areas, improving your mobility and range of motion.  The practice of Yin Yoga is a wonderful compliment to more vigorous types of yoga and exercise, bringing balance to overworked and underworked bodies alike.  Yin Yoga is helpful for those living with chronic pain and rehabilitating injuries or strains. Improving the flow of energy through the body has profound benefits for the health of our organs, enhancing immune function and emotional well-being.  After this practice you'll feel like you've given yourself a deep tissue massage, releasing buried tension.   Poses held for upwards of 5 minutes.This class adds heat to the traditional yin practice to encourage more relaxed muscles and soothe even the most restricted body.

For someone who has never been much of an active person, I got my proof this morning of how much I now love hot yoga which I started about 6 months ago. Since I didn't get to a class in the last week while Marc was away, I was up and ready for an 1.5 hour class this morning. I got there only to realize I had gotten the time wrong and had missed the class. I felt like crying, truly sad. Very strange feeling for me, as I've never felt this way about any sort of physical activity. Feeling grateful that I've found an activity that nurtures my body and soul. Thank you Pura Vida!!
