We use a variety of props and hold poses for longer periods of time in this practice to support the body and to encourage ultimate calm and relaxation. No hands on assists given in this class.
This class is designed for all levels, featuring enough time in each posture to allow the novice practitioner time to build each pose and the more seasoned practitioner time to zero in on the alignment and breathe. We combine standing postures, building strength, balance and focus with grounding floor work for a truly harmonious practice. This class is fantastic for people with movement limitations, or profound stiffness in the body, arthritis, back pain and other musculo-skeletal issues. Very Beginner friendly or for those looking for a slower pace. Restore vitality and wellness through breath and body work.
This 60 min practice will take you trough several yin postures. You can expect 3-5min holds for each. The last 2 postures of class will be 10 min holds in complete rest using bolsters and other props. You will leave this class feeling rested and relaxed!
