Sometimes you need to learn the hard way in life! First the baseball incident last summer where my shoulder got a nice hit and then a hockey injury to make me face the sad reality that I can no longer compete with my son’s quick athletic skills. I could blame the Figure Skates that were worn to a Hockey  game or maybe I should just need to accept the fact my body and what my mind thinks it can do, just don't align perfectly. Regardless, after a few great treatments to ease the pain of a bruised tailbone, hip and ego,  my practice came to the rescue. Bottom line, Yoga heals! Whether it be physical pain or aches or emotional ones, yoga has never let me down. Finding a more restorative and gentle yin practice where a supported Child Pose became my best friend, it simply reminded me to take the time to listen and let the body heal. Time and patience will lead you back to where you need to be, let go and trust! Chantel xxx

After having taught pre-choreographed yoga for a few years, I knew I needed and wanted to know a lot more about what is yoga, how to safely practice and also what is the purpose of the poses. When I saw Stephanie's training for yin yoga, I thought: why not? No need to travel far and be away from my family, it was right down the street. All I can say is I have NO regrets. This was a life changing experience. I learned all I wanted and so much more. Not only about yoga but about myself and the amazing group of people who shared the experience. It gave me a new insight on life, on how to deal, how to be present, how to be calm, how to be happy and how to be a better person. Stephanie is an amazing teacher and I will be forever grateful that her training was the one I chose.

What Client's Say

Anne-Sophie Chiasson

For someone who has never been much of an active person, I got my proof this morning of how much I now love hot yoga which I started about 6 months ago. Since I didn't get to a class in the last week while Marc was away, I was up and ready for an 1.5 hour class this morning. I got there only to realize I had gotten the time wrong and had missed the class. I felt like crying, truly sad. Very strange feeling for me, as I've never felt this way about any sort of physical activity. Feeling grateful that I've found an activity that nurtures my body and soul. Thank you Pura Vida!!
